Although the exact date is unknown, on June 18th of 2018 the school community of Abbey Park High School lost one of its best, Mr. Bob Hepburn. Mr. Hepburn's dedication to our school and capacity of love for all those who attended APHS and did not even have classes with him was unprecedented. He was a teacher, a librarian, a coach, a father, and most importantly a good man. Mr. Hepburn has been with APHS before it was even named APHS and has poured 20 years of his life into making our lives better. The student body of Abbey Park High School believes that one way in which we can try to show an ounce of respect for his legacy and commemorate what an amazing man he was is to change the name of the APHS library to the Bob Hepburn Memorial Library. There is no justice in the world unless we make it happen ourselves and Bob Hepburn's legacy not being celebrated and remembered throughout the future of our school will be true injustice.
