I believe this to be a valuable public asset and needs to remain in the public domain as open land. Bit by bit we are increasing the population in Hurstbridge and surrounding areas. Open public space is needed for quality of life.
Iit was an ideal school site
sadly that opportunity has been lost please don't lose this opportunity to keep the land open.

Why do state governments want to cover open green spaces with buildings? We need open spaces for children (and adults) to play sport or just run around. This is essential to bring down the level of obesity of Australians, young and old (together with the implementation of a sugar tax).

Either we have a ESO or we don't. Thin end of the wedge for any future development that councillors who are not impacted wish upon the Green WedgeWill create congestion at the bridge

I beleive that the integrity of the town is being destroyed by lack of communication by the council with the public and peolple of Hurstbridge.
