Dog theft has increased tremendously in recent years, low life criminals take our beloved members of our family to sell for small amounts of money.

 In Louisiana pets are considered property and they must have a value of over $1000 for their theft to be considered a criminal act and even then it is not really taken seriously or priority for trial in the court system.

How can anyone put a dollar value on a living being that gives back unconditional love and expects nothing in return?

Over a year and half ago someone picked up our little fur baby, Police arrested and charged two suspects for stealing our 5 years old Yorkshire terrier, the case went to court after court but due to limitation of the laws and not being a priority in comparison to other cases, it was dismissed. We are still hopeful to find justice for our loving baby
