Strike Down Stigma! Enforcing Sex & Body Boundaries education.

Strike Down Stigma! Enforcing Sex & Body Boundaries education.
Hialeah Gardens Senior Highschool is working with Project Citizen (A student organization that gives law students opportunities to pass policies/bills) and I would love your support. Our proposed plan is called "A Stigma Stance: Protecting Our Youth" works to protect, educate, and provide resources to our youth. This plan consists of enforcing sex education, body anatomy, and as the students grow the curriculum touch on topics such as teen pregnancy, sexual harassment/abuse/violation, and prevention methods. The curriculum would start in kindergarten to 4th graders about body boundaries. Moving along to 5th grade they would be taught body anatomy and basic reproductive system. Middle schoolers would be taught body anatomy, teen pregnancy, and how to identify sexual harassment. High schoolers would be given a mandatory health class which will be a graduation requirement, this would teach them all aspects of sexual harassment, teen pregnancy, teen pregnancy, prevention methods, and how to practice safe sex. For every grade level this curriculum would be taught once a week, every week, for a semester. Our class feels that our youth needs to be more educated on these topics instead of it being an awkward topic of talk and instead of having our youth stubble and make mistakes that could have been prevented.
