My 5 year old granddaughter is currently in icu at Texas Childrens hospital after being attacked by a pit bull dog. She was visiting a friend playing in a sand box , not enticing the animal in any way minding her business and he came up and for no reason attacked her biting her in the face.  He mauled her little face as such a impact that it fractured her facial bones. The owner states the dog never showed aggression before. These animals are unpredictable and are dangerous. She has had surgery and many complications. Series of painful rabies shots. This could have been prevented with stricter laws for this breed, Please join me in this petition so that this doesn’t happen again. I want the Everleigh law to come into effect  at the highest level so your child doesn’t go through this heart wretching ordeal. Thank you
