In months like December when it gets dark a lot faster than usual areas like thorns park and the skate park become more dangerous as it is harder to see but also leaves children and teenagers no place to really hang around leading them to go to streets with lighting or private land / areas if the skate park and park were lit up more it would mean they are able to be there longer and be safer  in the process
