On 7/26/22 all of me and my families things that we had in Storage at the Manhattan Storage on 1st Avenue, was auctioned. For 15 days I pleaded and begged their management and higher ups to contact the bidder and have he or she return our PERSONAL things back to storage. Our personal things were 2 crates with 500 family photos and also Family Videos of Our Vacation. Of Our Christmas’ Our Thanksgivings. As well as other personal documents. The management refused to help us. They insisted that the bidder had to be protected. But the management did not protect my family and I. In those 2 crates were not only me and my Families private photos and videos. But documents with our addresses and cell numbers. Our old passports. Documents with our social security number. 
This petition is to change the Auction regulation so it is a Law that requires that personal things be removed and returned to the person who had rented the unit before it’s Auctioned so that No Family will have to go through the nightmare of having their precious memories destroyed like we did. And to protect others from the auction bidder from having access to personal documents.
