The lengthening of school days affects many people in more ways than one; for example those who work at the school will have to work longer hours and despite a pay rise, they will endure a long pay freeze which could be extremely difficult for a lot of teachers. As well as this, it affects the students who are already exhausted from a 5 period school day. Extra curricular clubs are also not considered in this, students will become increasingly tired and therefore the possibility of them quitting will be heightened. Lastly, those who live further away will return home later giving them less time to go about their home lives.
