Discrimination in coed workplaces has been an issue for many years now, especially for women. As a school project, we decided to research sexism in the workplace, and the forms of and effects of it on women. We were  fortunate enough to be able to talk to a former
Florida Atlantic University (FAU) student with bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, who currently works in the bio medical field, and we interviewed her about her experiences and struggles she has faced regarding sexism in her line of work. If there was one thing we learned from the interview it is unacceptable for women to be treated differently in an environment that should be safe and equal.
