The Winsford Academy have created a new slogan. And it isn't if you believe you can achieve or dream learn aspire it is "HOPE IS NOT A PLAN" The school are displaying this poster amongst the school grounds which is enraging students as for some hope is all a person has.

It is understandable that the school where trying to tell students to work harder and not to just hope to get what you want, but instead they are showing the students to not hope on any occasion. 

weeks ago a girl was reported missing in burnley. Obviously the family where devastated that she was gone, but the one think that kept their hopes high that one day she might return ... was HOPE. 

There must have been a time in your life when you tried hard at something but you still HOPED that you got there, like for example an achievement or even as simple as winning in a video game. Evryone uses hope day to day and this school if telling students to not hope. 

So even if you tried your hardest at an exam the school still wants you NOT to hope that you got the grade you wanted. This propaganda the school is spreading is terrible for the mental health of the students, or even the teachers that might be going through something where they need HOPE.
