Hello, im trying to stop Wath Academy locking off the toilets for pupils in class time, my son had a incident where he needed to get to a toilet and when he had tried 3 different toilets that were locked he had to run to the 6th form toilets resulting in him receiving a detention!! This is inhumaine and as a female it would cause me so much anxiety not being able to access a toilet quickly and without asking for permission!! This is 2022 and should not be happening!! Even prisoners whom have committed crimes can go to the toilet whenever they want so why are we allowing this!!

Childrens mental health will suffer and it creates alot of anxiety for children not being able to use the toilet without permission and having to wait for a member of staff to escort them to toilets in class time.

This is inhumaine and it needs to be stopped!

These are our next generation of young humans and what is it teaching them that they have to bend to society to even use the toilet???
