In just last three months ,I have read about many cases of accidents and deaths caused by the use of china dor for flying kites.Those who died were very young and children.They may be the sole earner or support for their families.A eight year old boy had got cut in his lower jaw and cheek,some one got their throat slit, someone's ankle got deep stitches,.If you think deeply,it seems very horrible.

Birds are also affected by this and these cases remain unreported.Only if we watch around we can find birds died or got their body parts cut due to china dor.

The NGT vide it's order dated 11/7/2017 has banned the use of Chinese manja or nylon manja but it is still in use and proving life threatening. Punjab pollution control board has requested the DGP and all DC,s  to ensure implementation of the notification issued by Department of Science and Technology,Govt.of Punjab on 23/02/2018.
