This is the way text notices work at another large competitor bank: if you receive a text in the morning showing a negative balance, you have the business day to make a deposit and avoid fees. This is not the case with SunTrust; once you receive a text with a negative balance, it's TOO LATE to avoid ridiculously high fees. You could easily end up paying $36.00 to borrow $1.89 for less than 24 hours. This does not build trust and is counterproductive, causing struggling families more problems. It may be "legal," but it's certainly not ethical.
Please, fix this texting tool so that it is truly a tool and not a harbinger of bitter news.
