JRMonsterColorado trademark has been registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office since February 2022. On April 8, Monster Energy Company filed an opposition to JRMonsterColorado.

Monster Energy Company expressed their idea that any company using the word ‘monster’ would make customers feeling that the 2 companies are in association. However, Monster Energy is engaged in energy drinks, while JRMonsterColorado is a small local online shop which never sells any beverage. 

Apart from the totally different business nature, the logos look completely different. Especially when the main color for Monster Energy is green while JRMonsterColorado logo is mainly in red. Any reasonable person will not mix them up or feel that they are in any kind of association.
