Ticket sites only allow you to resell your tickets via them - and do not offer refunds when you can't attend an event - often scheduled a year in advance. They then take another booking fee of 10% from the new buyer, for the privelege of using their site, which is your only option. If you genuinely cannot attend an event for unforseen circumstances or even a change in circumstances, this makes it extremely stressful, and often costly to the buyer. As buyers, we should be entitled to a refund or to resell our tickets to friends, family, or anyone - for the face value -- without the site taking another fee for this. It means buyers often lose out on a lot of money - often £70-£100 per ticket if they are unable to attend or resell the ticket. I find this outrageous and unethical. Please sign this petition so this can be discussed and better practices put in place, especially in a time where every penny counts for families up and down the country.
