Stop the Wood Smoke at Meraki Market

Pictured above is soot collected from an apartment across the street from Meraki Market at 927 Post Street after the tenant was out of town for just one week.
Meraki has been operating their wood-burning stove daily from early in the morning until late at night to cook a variety of meats. Numerous residents within a several block radius have confirmed they can smell the smoke—including during Spare the Air days, and some have experienced a variety of health problems.
The markets' owners could simply switch to a gas stove to alleviate the problem, but instead, they've chosen aesthetics over the health and wellbeing of the community.
Demand that Meraki Market switch to a gas stove by signing the petition. Then help us spread the word to residents in the area.
