Stop the Proposed widening of Ocotillo Road between Val Vista Drive and Greenfield Road to 130' (by increasing the easements to 65' from the center of the road) under eminent domain to maintain the integrity of our rural community.

Signed Petitions will be submitted to Town of Gilbert Government and Maricopa County Department of Transportation.

We want Town and County officials to consider the residents opinion on whether the road should be maintained "as is" or widened to 3 lane plus amenities or widened to a 5 lane with limited amenities.  A 3 (three) lane road would be defined as follows: one Eastbound lane, one Westbound lane, and a two-way left turn lane to promote safe access to side roads and driveways. A 5 (five) lane  Is defined as 2 Eastbound lanes, 2 st Westbound lanes, and a two-way left turn lane.  Amenities include include bike lanes, comma standard sidewalks, wide sidewalks, and horse path as described in Gilbert's plan.

We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge our leaders to act now to halt the Proposed widening of Ocotillo Road 130' width and request our consideration in future changes to the roadway.
