It’s where my 2-year-old plays outside, and where many children in our neighborhood grow up, ride bikes, and spend their time. The idea of a warehouse development this close to our homes is not just concerning—it’s personal.
This site sits next to Rush Creek, which flows into Lake Erie. Any pollution, runoff, or disturbance here doesn’t just affect one property—it impacts the water, the land, and the families who live here and throughout Erie County.
We already deal with flooding in this area. Adding buildings, pavement, truck traffic, and industrial activity this close to our homes puts our safety, our environment, and our peace of mind at risk.
I’m not against development—but it has to be done responsibly, in the right place, and with full transparency. Right now, that’s not happening.
This is about protecting our children, our homes, and the place we chose to live.
I’m asking for proper environmental review, accountability, and for decision-makers to truly consider the people who live here—not just the plans on paper.
