As members of the Tri-County Triangle Trail and members of the community it has come to our attention that the Ross County Parks District is considering closing sections of the Paint Creek Recreational Trail. 

This is a 30 plus mile trail that stretches from Chillicothe to Washington CH, Ohio. There are sections of the trail that need repaired due to erosion. We understand that these repairs are not cheap but they can be done. 

The Paint Creek Recreational Trail is a designated State Bicycle Route #20 by the Ohio Department Of Transportation.

There are plans to expand the trail in Fayette County which will eventually connect to Xenia, Ohio. Xenia is the bicycle capital of Ohio. 

The Ross County Parks District will be holding a special meeting on September 27th at 5:30pm at Christopher's Conference Center in Chillicothe Ohio. We are inviting everyone to attend. If you can't make the meeting please call or email the Ross County Parks District Commissioners with your concerns!
