San Juan Hills High School is issuing a new policy to force all of their students to use  exclusively school issued acer chrome book 11's (which you can purchase for the low price of 34.99 on eBay). In the past, students were encouraged to have their own personal laptops, and school issued chrome books were only provided for the families who could not afford to buy their child a personal device. During the covid-19 online learning year many students grew accustomed to their personal computers and laptops which function much more efficiently than the school provided chrome books. The school provided chrome books are small and often low quality, broken, have poor audio, and are functioning slowly. For many students, the use of school chrome books would impair their learning and make their school experience at San Juan Hills High School more stressful than it already may be. The school's reasoning for implementing this new policy is unclear, and made up of weak arguments.
