The world is facing a lot of difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Nepal is no different. The most affected region in the country is Kathmandu, which happens to be the capital city of the country. Because of this, physical classes were not held for around 9 months. 

With unfavorable circumstances like these, it is impossible for the students to give the board exams. Although the batch of 2076 were not able to give SEE exams due to the pandemic, their physical classes were not interrupted. But, this is not the case with the current batch. We have not had any physical classes and online classes are just an alternative, it has clearly failed to replace the physical classes. We are clearly not ready to give a board exam with our only classes being online. 

Therefore, it is stupid of the government to organize an exam like SEE in the midst of such a life threatening pandemic, plus the students throughout the country are clearly not ready to give the exams. In such dire situation, the best course of action would be to either allow the current batch of the students to advanced through internal markings, or to open physical school as soon as possible. Clearly the second one is not an viable option, so the best thing to do would be to allow the students to advanced through internal markings.
