The Ba-Phalaborwa Municipality intends to spend close to R1 Million per annum on the employment of 'Chauffeurs' for the Mayor and the Speaker. 

As Lets Change Ba-Phalaborwa Forum and as citizens we are outraged at this 'Marie Antoinette-like' action when the municipality professes to have no funds to fix our town's crumbling infrastructure and failing service delivery.

We demand that the Municipal Council reverse this immoral decision.

We demand that the money - R1 Million per annum - be redirected to fixing our infrastructure and failing service delivery

We demand that the MEC for Local Government in Limpopo intervene in this matter.

We will not allow the Mayor and Speaker to 'eat cake' at our expense!!
