As a 15 year old girl, when this law was created, it not only risked my safety, but the safety of all women and Canadian citizens. I just see this law as just another way of justifying a mans or abusers harmful actions towards women.  Even before this law was passed numerous sexual assault cases went unsolved, unreported and undocumented. This was already a serious issue, and with the new law, women are more inclined to leave it unreported because the assailant is likely to get away with it. 

If we don't take action against this law, its just another inequality women are facing, and not doing anything about. Once I've gained enough signatures, I plan to send the petition to the Government of Canada. So, please concider signing if you want to make Canada a safer place for everyone and make postitive change, Thank you
