I am a white male currently attending college and working over 40 hours a week, and I am very concerned and scared by the notion that our president would be willing to repeat the mistakes made during the Great Depression and forcefully deport my close friends and family for seeking to achieve a better life. I live in California, where we alone hold one of the most prosperous economic systems in the world. I believe this to be, in part, due to the massive population of illegal immigrants currently living here. Not only will mass deportation cause me to shed many tears for my brothers and sisters, we will be undoing much of the hard work California has done to grow in prosperity. These people have done nothing wrong in our eyes but threaten the existence of a white majority in America. I am signing this petition the same way our forfathers would have signed if they were alive today: in hopes to preserve a better nation of anyone and everyone seeking a better life and the freedom to achieve it.

it is time the government recognized the plight of Migrant Workers, and brought legislation that affords them protection and dignity in the work they do. These are often marginalized or immigrant workers just trying to survive and support themselves and their families. Federal legislation that protects them as they travel province to province, and a fair wage are a start, but more should be done in the way of job protection, health and safety, and the right to organize are also needed.

I know people personally effected by this law and they have been blocked from realizing their dream to live in Canada....most people currently living in Canada are only here because of the immigration of our parents grandparents and such...

I'm signing because I lived in Ontario working as a long haul truck driver from 2011 to 2015.
1)I took no job away from Canadians (my company is still struggling to fill positions)
2) My wage was far from miserable, same as a Canadian .
3) I definitely was not a burden for Canadian economy, I've never seen a welfare check, and I never want to !
4) I love Canada and I respect Its culture and honour Its rules.
