Stop the funding cuts to Australian Defence Force Cadets #noCuts2Cadets

22,000 children benefit from involvement in the youth development organization the Australian Defence Force Cadets (ADFC). Cadets, through their participation are given the opportunity to develop leadership skills, work in teams & gain valuable life skills.
Recently, the Federal Government announced cuts to the Australian Defence Force Cadets. In particular the Cadet Forces Allowance will be cut by 30%, which will reduce the number of days for training from 48 to 30 days per year.
Without staff, ADFC Units will be unable to parade, unable to attend camps and unable to attend leadership development courses that teach Cadets not only about the military but also about being responsible citizens.

The petition of the undersigned shows:
The community values the opportunities the Australian Defence Force Cadets provides our young Australians and does not accept any funding cuts to this valuable organization.

Your petitioners ask that the Senate:
Not allow funding cuts to the Cadet Forces Allowance or any further budgetary cuts to the Australian Defence Force Cadets.
