I have been amazed by nature since I was a in preschool. I have always done my best to study animals and plants and all living things. Biology has fascinated me from the beginning.

     I had recently found out that constructers are planning to take down a forest near my house, Alderwood park, and put in apartments. There are foxes, coyotes, rabbits and cats that live there. They will have no place to shelter from the rain or have enough food to eat. We have already taken down so much of Tacoma's forest, we don't need more space.

     One of my favorite things about Washington is that there are a lot of pretty trials, forests, and many opportunities for outdoor adventures. Everyone loves the trails and scenery that take place there. The forest really adds to Tacoma and the rest of Washington. I urge you to help us keep the forest here and stop this beautiful forest from coming down.
