Amendment Z17-22 proposes a plan of a Subdivision north of the Thames River in Dorchester, ON.  The plan is for approximately 200 lots to support single-detached residential development as well as 8 block of medium density residential development  of approximately 590 units including townhouses, single family residential and another block for residential and commercial purposes.

This proposal would wipe out approximately 108 acres of wildlife and their habitat.  Many species of wildlife have been spotted in this specific area including deer, beavers, stoat, woodpeckers, turtles, fox, coyote and much more.  Thousands of trees will be razed to the ground if this subdivision gets approved. 

Let's send a strong message to the Municipality of Thames Centre council that we will not stand idly by and let this habitat disappear.
