The don't say gay bill has just passed in Florida and is coming into effect on Thursday, March 10th. This bill will harm many Pasco students, and we must put a stop to this Bill. The "Don't Say Gay" bill prohibits students from being openly LGBTQIA+, and will keep teachers from teaching about sexual orientation or gender identities, which may be harmful to clubs centered around such. Kids can't talk about it, and if they do and are found out by teachers, the school tell the parents and out the kids to them, which will be severely damaging many kids mentally and physically, and can and will get many LGBTQIA+ youth hurt by family members. Together we can help to stop this from damaging the students of Pasco County.
