Being honest, we know that clinics that offer Methadone and Suboxone hurt our inner-city neighborhoods:

•  These clinics attract drug dealers and users as soon as it starts

•   The supersaturation of approximately 22+ addiction service locations within a three-to-five-mile radius in our community and none in Guilford and Roland Park

•  The incompatibility and unsightliness of many medical treatment centers  in our neighborhoods decreases property values, diminish, or jeopardize efforts to recruitment new business and bring no economic improvement to our community

•  The concentration of these services is placed in our communities without our input.

•   This addition to our community could also undermine programs and messages aimed to help our young residents succeed in school and ultimately in their everyday life.

•    Let it be known that we are not against the behavioral therapeutic portion of the center; Indeed, we do not agree with the distribution of Methadone and Suboxone
