Stop the development of the Hout Bay commonage

The Hout Bay commonage which was bestowed to the residents of Hout Bay for recreational purposes and has been a recreational space for the past 80 years is about to be developed into a public day hospital. This is an ill considered decision for all residents of Hout Bay as there is other suitable land available adjacent to the fire station which is big enough for development and would create a perfect services hub next to the police station and fire station. The residents of Hout Bay are not being heard, or included in any valid participation in this decision. This is an opportunity to voice your objection. Please also attend the meeting on January 17th at 18:00 at the Hout Bay museum hall in Andrews rd.
