"Able" Mable Thomas, Chair of Greater Vine City Opportunity Program Inc. (GVCOP) which is the purchaser of English Avenue Elementary School located on 627 English Ave. NW 30318, with a goal of developing the School into a Community Center. On October 13, 2017 we entered into a partnership with Keven Patterson of GreenLife Energy Solutions to form the Westside Development Partners LLC. Keven Patterson has spent the last four years and seven months trying to dishonor Able Mable and steal the School. We worked and obtained State Historic Designation August 24, 2018 and National Historic Register, March 23, 2020. Keven Patterson has let the building deteriorate to this point and the neighborhood needs your active support. GVCOP most recently initiated the request for the $500,000 Grant to stabilize our Historic Asset in English Avenue neighborhood. Many throughout Atlanta cherish and graduated from this School. Additionally, it has been an entire year since we have heard any Update about any Plans, Financials, and Partnerships. We demand Full Disclosure and Transparency!

YOU SHOULD KNOW:

* Mr. Patterson refused to present a report before the English Avenue Neighborhood Association, even when instructed by NPU-L to do so.

* December 8, 2020 NPU-L voted 17-2 against a Special Use permit, stating they had no confidence in Mr. Patterson's ability to finish the project and include the community.

We are asking the Atlanta School Board to continue to hold Mr. Patterson accountable to the constituency whom is being adversely affected. We continue to demand full disclosure on and STOP THE STEAL! We thank the School Board Member in our area for standing with our neighbors. NO LIE CAN LAST FOREVER!
