Petitioning President of the United States of America Barack Obama and 4 others

Stop the deportation of Samuel Gonzales-Ramirez, a hardworking father of three.

Help keep Angela's family stay united and ensure that Nicola, Benjamin, and Samuel grow up with a father.

Angela came to the United States 8 years ago from Honduras. Like many people, she wanted a better life. She came to work, and most importantly, to be with her husband Samuel.

On March 18th her husband was arrested by immigration police in front of their home.

The arrest in Angela’s words:

"It was around 5 in the morning, my son was preparing for school. He called me to look out the window.

'Mommy the police are taking daddy.' He said.

I thought it couldn’t be true, right outside of our home… where we lived; I thought what right they have to take him. I went to look and it was true, I ran outside, I yelled what is going on. I ran to the car window begging them to explain.

'I am being arrested…I’m being deported!' replied Samuel

I wanted to open the door but my oldest son stopped me. He said if you open the door you could be arrested too.”

We need your help to sign the petition and help build the case for Samuel Gonzales-Ramirez to be able to stay with her loving family.

Stop the deportation of Samuel Gonzales-Ramirez and fathers like him across our country. The introduction of the Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act of 2013 is a step forward, but our families need relief now!

I urge you to use your discretion and stop the deportation of Samuel Gonzales-Ramirez.
