I am signing because this man's life will be in great danger if he is forced to go back to Pakistan. Our government should not only speak up against the persecution of Christians but actually give them practical help to protect them. Otherwise they are being hypocritical. The humane thing to do would be to rescue his persecuted family in Pakistan and allow them to come to England to be re-united with him.

There is no reason whatsoever to deport this good man, and every reason to allow him to stay in the UK. In Pakistan, he becomes yet another statistic of anti-Christian persecution. Here is serves and enriches his adoptive community. We must end the cruelty and hypocrisy of our national stance towards asylum seeking Christians.

The UK must practice what it preaches with regards to the persecution of Christians in many Islamic countries.

This man could well be sent to his death simply for being a Christian.

I am ashamed of our home office decision making. It's obvious to anyone with half a brain this man should not be deported. He should be granted asylum - and quickly.
