STOP THE CUTS TO ST JOHNS TRAIN SERVICES

STOP THE CUTS TO ST JOHNS TRAIN SERVICES
On 11 December 2022, Southeastern, with no prior consultation, will be significantly reducing the number of trains that stop at St Johns. The Hayes line will now terminate at Charing Cross rather than Cannon Street and will no longer stop at St Johns.
The number of trains serving St Johns will reduce from 8 to 6 at peak times and from 6 to 4 at off peak times.
Many residents in St Johns rely on these connections to earn a living and socialise. In a time of acute anxiety about the Cost of Living crisis and the need to improve London’s air quality, accessible and reliable public transport is essential.
Any changes to services also disproportionately affect commuters and those less able to travel, with journeys becoming more complicated and difficult. So sign this petition today to tell Southeastern “NO” to these cuts
