Shark culling is a big issue to shark population. It is when sharks are killed for being, well, sharks if they look to be dangerous to the human population. Since the shark cull policy was introduced, 100 million sharks are being killed each year, not only sharks that are plentiful in numbers but also those that are, rare, endangered and in danger of going extinct. And shark nets and drum lines are killing more than just sharks, native and rare, endangered etc. marine life is being caught and killed in shark nets and a dolphin was a victim to a drum line. There is a less than 1 in 264 million chance of dying from a shark bite and everybody enters the water at their own will and risk. Shark culling must stop.
