We are residents of 2 railway border road. Kodambakkam, chennai. We humbly request to stop building public toilets  right across my house. As soon as we step out of the house we see the public toilet. This is a residential area where peple use their own toilets and there is no necessity if public toilets. We have been residing in this area for the past 50 yrs. Since public toilets should be built in areas where people  do not have facilities to build individual toilets for their homes. Existing public toilets are poorly maintained and often become redundant within months of construction , due to their pathetic conditions. Usage of public toilets lack of civic sense and poor awareness on hygiene practice. More over due to constant pumping out of flood water from the underground subway during rainy days result in mixing of flood water with sewage water and all the wastes of public toilets across our house cause serious health problems snd poor hygienic conditions. Building public toilets across my house will restrict ambulances coming to our street due to narrow space as result of building public toilet across my house. My father is 94 yrs old and we would like him to live in good hygienic conditions snd access to ambulance is very important.  All our neighbours are impacted by this public toilet and will support the idea of snot building public toilet near my house.

So please take the necessary steps to stop the construction of public toilet near 2 railway border rd, kidambakkam, chennai 600024
