We, the undersigned residents of West Hills, oppose the building of the three warehouse/manufacturing structures, known as the "Fallbrook Pointe Project" at 22815-22825 Roscoe Boulevard, at the south-east corner of the Corporate Pointe property. The proposed structures would be 37 feet high, consist of nearly 100,000 square feet of rentable floor space, and be designated as “Light Industrial.” We believe that this project is not in line with the intended nature of Corporate Pointe site, and that it would negatively impact and change the character of the surrounding community. Trucks utilizing the proposed loading docks would generate traffic, noise and pollution that would interfere with the right to the quiet enjoyment and peaceful use of nearby resident's homes. There are also environmental concerns related to previous toxic contamination of the site. This project could also negatively impact nearby residential property values. We furthermore urge the West Hills Neighborhood Council to strongly oppose this project.
