The closure of St. Paul St  in St Catharine’s during the summer and fall on the weekends  has had a direct negative impact  on  retail and the restaurant sectors. Deliveries  such as Uber eats can not get to the restaurants for pickup  orders.  commercial deliveries to retailers and restaurants are also effected .  Furniture stores are also unable to deliver product to their customers . The Main Street closure daytime Friday and Saturday  has had a negative effect on business . The closure should begin in the evening  starting 6:00 pm on Friday and Saturday only.  Alternative would be a closure every  Sunday only  ,when all the retail is closed .That  Friday and Saturday alone leaving businesses can operate normal with out any interference  .
