I am signing because I am a very passionate oval race fan and have been for a very long time and this is the closest track from where I live. It also makes a really enjoyable and easy evening for my dad and I as we don't get home too late and although half of the stadium is shut due asbestos, it obviously means that only a certain number of oval race fans can watch this evolving sport as not only the oval community doesn't want Wimbledon to shut, it's part of East London's community.

When we like in Londo is was a place of many memories, and shocked that the emphosos is on 'luxury' and not 'affordable' accomodation.

This stadium belongs to its people the communitys of Wandsworth Tooting and Wimbledon .
Not only is this part of sporting history so is the market and carboots that serve the community.
The sunday market provides cheap meat and vegetables and house hold products to people on low incomes who need this .
The carboots that operate 3 days a week also serve the public with recyled second hand furniture and clothes and bargains which helps people on low incomes plus its all recyling and green .
To take this all away in times of Austerity is wrong and people will suffer .
please keep this much loved site open for its communitys .

It's the only dog racing local to me. How can you get rid of such a quality stadium and entertainment.

I'm a massive fan of greyhound racing and to lose the last track in London would be a massive blow for the sport and the local area.
