Stop the building plans on Hospital Lane fields
Richborough Estates have proposed the building of up to 445 houses on the fields off Hospital Lane, linking Goodyears End Lane with Smorrall Lane.
This land was left for the good of the people of Bedworth in the Nicholas Chamberlain Trust. Many people use those fields for their well-being; a safe space for children to play, walking their dogs and enjoying green space which continues to become more and more difficult to access. With ever increasing mental health issues which research has shown access to outdoor exercise and time spent in nature can improve, it is so important that these plans not proceed.
In addition, there is no inclusion of any proposals for additional schooling provision, medical practices or dentists, which everyone locally knows that the existing provision is over subscribed.
If this proposal is allowed to go ahead, it will be to the detriment of the local people. Further substantial pressure on over subscribed resources; poorer schooling experiences, horrendous traffic, even longer delays and more difficult access to much needed NHS facilities, not to mention the impact on the local nature and animals whose home is in those fields.
Please help stop these plans by supporting this petition against the proposed building, maintaining this amazing space for all to enjoy.
