Somerset West and Taunton Council are about to sign a 20 year lease with William Wynn of Bar21 (well known for its lively hen and stag parties) to run the café in Blenheim Gardens.

Bar 21 have already said they want to expand the café, cut down trees and extend its opening hours till 11pm, every day of the week.

There is a concern that the café will sell alcohol, play loud music and risks ruining the tranquil and beautiful environment which the gardens provide for the residents and visitors to the town.  

It is feared that the development will lead to an increase in anti-social behaviour in the quiet confines of the park and surrounding residential area.

Please help stop the council signing the lease.
