Stop the Bleeding Start the Healing- Restore the Nuclear Family
Please read our story below and help your community in two fundamental ways:
1. Stop the Bleeding. By reducing the destructive financial, emotional, and spiritual effects that crime, especially robberies and assaults (both to adults and children) has on a community, and
2. Start the Healing. Help your community "Heal" and spiritually renew from those destructive effects of crime by implementing programs that embraces the fundamental impact a father's presence has in bringing out the good in our youth, and the creativity that lives within them.
In January, 2012, the owners of FACES, the world's leading police sketch software (see: facebook.com/facesketchsoftware) were themselves robbed in their own home. They used FACES to identify the robber. The subsequent mug shot that was provided by law enforcement looked identical, and the robber was captured a week later.
Spurred by this event, the owners, a married couple, have started a campaign to donate up to $20 million of FACES software to selected communities. Targeted applications include: crime prevention, campus security, sexual predator prevention, and kidnap prevention.
A fundraising campaign has been started on causes.com. See: http://www.causes.com/causes/787829-stop-the-bleeding-start-the-healing All proceeds will go to the Young Inventor's Association of America, Inc (a 501.c.3), which sponsors the Young Inventor's Showcase (YIS).
See the video of the YIS at: http://exhibits.cmhouston.org/inventors-showcase/video/
A portion of the proceeds will be devoted to assist in starting up the Young Inventor's Showcase in that local community.

Strengthen communities by reducing crime AND supporting Dads.
In January, 2012, the owners of FACES, the world's leading police sketch software (see: facebook.com/facesketchsoftware) were themselves robbed in their own home. They used FACES to identify the robber. The subsequent mug shot that was provided by law enforcement looked identical, and the robber was subsequently captured a week later.
Spurred by this event, the owners, a married couple, are now offering FACES software to any community free of charge, if it is sponsored by a funding source from within the community. who will be offered the "Naming Rights". All proceeds will go to programs and initiatives that work towards reinstating fathers into the family unit. The first project approved is the Young Inventor's Association of America, Inc (a 501.c.3), which sponsors the Young Inventor's Showcase (YIS). See the video of the YIS at: http://www.cmhouston.org/inventors-showcase/. (Scroll down to click onto the video).
