Beginning July 2022 the 48-Quintara bus which has 24 hour service has been rerouted to Tennessee Street, a residential street. 

There is absolutely no reason for this changes. SFMTA rerouted "in response to operator feedback". This change was made without any warning to or feedback from the neighbors who live and work on this street and are directly affected by this.

The bus speeds down the street at 30 miles per hour in a 15 mile per hour posted zone with two preschools on this block. 

This is a health and safety issue and we request the SFMTA to immediately stop running the 48-Quintara bus down Tennessee Street.
