A proposed change in a Tennessee law could protect students who engage in anti-gay bullying if they do so for religious reasons. David Fowler, a former state senator and current president of the Family Action Council of Tennessee (FACT) is basically telling these students it is OK to bully as long as you do it in the name of God.  In an interview, Fowler said, “the purpose is to stop bullying, not create special classes of people who are more important than others.” Yet that is exactly what he is doing!
