In 2022,there were 5.4% or 5,331 of Women 15 to 19  years of age who have been pregnant in the country.In the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR),teenage pregnancy was at 6.1 in 2022,an increase of 2.6 percentage from 3.5 percent in 2017.Nowaday a lot youth especially students are now facing teenage pregnancy.This is hard for them because some of students are part of indigent community.Some of them don't know how to raise a child and they also don't have enough money to give anything that their child need.It also hard for them because it can affect their study if they have a child to raise.If this problem doesn't have a better solution,the case of teenage pregnancy will continue until the population of our country will increase and increase and the poverty will never stop.But if this problem can have a solution,teenage pregnancy will no longer spread or increase in our country.We can create a solution for this problem,we can create a program for every student that will help them to realize that having a family at early age and being part of youth that experiencing teenage pregnancy do not have a good effect for them.It is important to take action right now to stop teenage pregnancy because if do not solve this issue,there will be a lot of students will destroy their lives because of early pregnancy.DSWD should take an action as soon as possible,because they know how to handle a youth and to explain them the bad effects of teenage pregnancy.
