Roxy bar This bar has now been a problem for a few months around the area of Aberdeen Bazaar, Port Blair. There have been several complaints made to the police and administration, but neither of them helped. Even when councillor ward no4 was approached with this problem, he too didn't show much interest. The natives of this area are now facing a lot of problems. On weekends, this bar operates till late night, even after the permissible time is over. Girls can be found standing at the bar late at night. Every day, the bar plays loud music until 3 a.m., causing a lot of noise in the area, and it is also learned from sources that this bar serves liquor to underage children. The administration should take some steps to curb the problem happening related to the bar. We, the residents of Aberdeen Bazar, request that the Chief Secretary, Shri Jitendra Narain ji, look into this matter, and I urge all islanders to sign and share this petition. We Aberdeen bazar dwellers require peace. Also to be informed, since there is a hospital and a mosque situated near by, this bar should be removed. Such heinous acts were never tolerated in Andaman, and while times have changed, we do not want people to ruin our culture. Immediate action against this ROXY BAR is demanded.
