Stop Singapore Airlines Cancelling Flights Abruptly
Stop Singapore Airlines Cancelling Flights Abruptly
Why this petition matters
It has been our recent experience that Singapore airlines has been cancelling flights for November/December from Singapore to Indian Destinations. Customers flying from Australia to India via Singapore are being rebooked on other days' flights by Singapore airlines and face extended wait times. Also, Singapore airlines are not providing any accommodation or other amenities to sustain and be comfortable during the extended layovers at Changi airport, even though this is their fault.
The only resolution provided by Singapore Air is to cancel the ticket and get a full refund - which obviously is either going to lead to people cancelling their holiday plans or be stranded at Changi with extended layovers or spend double the amounts to go with other airlines.
The idea of this petition is to make Singapore airlines understand and make alternate arrangements (like accommodating people in airlines with their code-share partners or reinstating flights) in order to make the travels more convenient or atleast as planned. It is not a customer's headache that the airline has cancelled part or whole of the flight and they need to support the customers by providing amicable and acceptable solutions.
