Hello Hacienda and Vale View residents in Vista! The goal of this petition is to encourage slower car travel speeds on Hacienda Dr and E Vale View Dr between the new shopping center across from Food 4 Less, and Crestview Rd.

With the area's current traffic orientation, the traffic speeds regularly reach 40-50 mph and sometimes more! This makes it dangerous for the high foot traffic in the area as well as residents simply checking their mail or taking their trash cans to the street. This is a very cost effective method to keep our neighborhood safer, with the alternative being that sidewalks be installed. The current speed limit in this area is 30 mph. 

We hope to achieve our goal by requesting the City of Vista to install All-Way stop signs at the West intersection of Vale View Dr and Hacienda Dr, the intersection of Hacienda Dr and Hideaway Terrace, and the corner of E Vale View Dr and Crestview Rd. Let's keep our neighborhood safe and reduce traffic speeds!
