We have heard for over the course of the last few years dealing with COVID-19 that America has a shortage of doctors/nurses and some may say that to solve that problem is to train more doctors but its not that easy. According to AAMC the U.S. faces a projected shortage of between 37,800 and 124,000 physicians within 12 years, (The Complexities of Physician Supply and Demand: Projections From 2019 to 2034). America has the longest length of training to become a doctor or nurse, the cost of the training programs are significantly higher than any other country, physician burnout is a huge issue medicine which we have witnessed during the pandemic. The long hours and difficult schedules are very combative which opens patients and physicians from moderate to fatal medical errors. Therefore we must help put an end to inefficiencies, medical professional shortages and errors.
