Stop SFMTA Emergency Transit Lanes on Clay St

Stop SFMTA Emergency Transit Lanes on Clay St
SFMTA is planning to expand transit lanes on Clay St and add two new blocks of AM and PM peak transit lanes on Clay Street in Nob Hill: between Mason and Taylor and between Jones and Leavenworth.
We already have commuter transit lanes (tow away zones) from 7 am to 10 am and 3 pm to 7 pm between Clay & Larkin up to Clay & Leavenworth St.
What this has created is that cars now pass through our neighborhood at higher speeds and now it will become a mini freeway between Clay & Larkin and Clay & Mason. Not only but these transit lanes are placing an unfair impact onto our neighborhood parking.
Read more about it on MTA's website https://www.sfmta.com/projects/1-california-temporary-emergency-transit-laneshere. This petition will be submitted to Jeffrey Tumlin/Director of SFMTA, Supervisor Peskin, other interested supervisors, the mayor, and other parties that appear to have an interest in the safety of our neighborhoods.
